Scope and operator
Effective October 1, 2026. Retaining Wall Calc is operated by Ejaz Elahi. This policy covers the calculator website and its contact form. For privacy requests, use the contact page and identify your request without sending passwords, financial account details or identification documents.
Calculator inputs and shared links
Calculations run in your browser. The site does not send your editing activity to a calculator database or require an account. If you open or create a shared project link, the URL contains the chosen dimensions, options and example or entered prices. Anyone receiving that link can read those values.
URLs may appear in browser history and ordinary hosting access logs. Do not put personal, confidential or customer-identifying information into shared project values. External links use a referrer policy intended to limit cross-site disclosure of the page URL.
Contact messages
The contact form collects your name, email address, subject, message and confirmation that you want the site operator to receive it. Messages are stored in the website’s private database so the operator can review and respond to support, correction or privacy requests. They are not published on the site.
We also use a daily hash of your connection’s IP address for submission rate limiting. The raw IP is not stored in the contact message table. Hosting and security providers may separately process IP addresses and request logs to deliver the website and prevent abuse. A honeypot and a submission-time check help limit automated spam.
Contact records are intended to be retained for up to 12 months, unless ongoing correspondence or a legal obligation requires longer. The operator reviews retention and deletion requests. Rate-limit records older than two days are removed during subsequent contact submissions.
Hosting and service providers
The site uses ChatGPT Sites infrastructure and Cloudflare services for hosting, delivery and database storage. Service providers may process data in countries other than your own. We do not sell contact messages or use them to build advertising profiles.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
No optional analytics, advertising cookies or ad network scripts are enabled by this website at launch. Essential infrastructure security mechanisms may be used by the hosting provider. There is no active Google AdSense integration at present.
If advertising or analytics is enabled later, this policy will describe the provider, data use and applicable choices before those services begin. For Google ads served to users in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, the operator must configure a Google-certified consent management platform that meets the applicable requirements. An ordinary custom banner is not represented as a certified CMP.
Your choices
You can use the calculators without submitting a contact message. You can request access, correction or deletion of contact information by using the contact form. Depending on your location, additional data rights may apply; verification may be needed to protect the information involved.
The website is intended for general project planning, not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek contact information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, request its removal through the contact form.
